Jo ez a Youtube :) megtalaltam egyik kedvenc szamomat a kedvenc filmembol. Muriel's wedding ausztral film ABBA dalokkal otvozve. Muriel (Toni Collette) and Rhonda (Rachel Griffiths) enekelte Abba-tol a Waterloo dalt. Szerintem jobb, mint a Mamma mia filmbeli ....

Winter ... + esik a hav ... :)

Szeretem a telet, annak ellenere, hogy hideg van es jeges az ut idonkent. Sometimes, reggelente, amikor suliba megyek, a Nap + a kod egyuttese igen csodas tud lenni.

Esik a hav :) a csodas Cabbage tree (ugyan ez a fa Angliaban palmafa :) a nyari viragda utan be- vagy kifeheredett. A foto tegnap keszult az ablakombol :) amikor nyammogtam a dogam felett. Piszok nehez valamirol oldalakat irni, amikor nem tudsz semmit vagy csak homaly van a fejedben. Cogito ergo sum :) Gondolkodom, tehat vagyok ... and the thinking is the hardest job in the world :)

A tenger mindig megragad.  It makes me feel connected and alive. My being is always at peace when I am by the sea. Today I stumbled across this poem by Erica Jong  and it spoke to me.






People Who Live




People who live by the sea
understand eternity.
They copy the curves of the waves,
their hearts beat with the tides,
& the saltiness of their blood
corresponds with the sea.
They know that the house of flesh
is only a sandcastle
built on the shore,
that skin breaks
under the waves
like sand under the soles
of the first walker on the beach
when the tide recedes.
Each of us walks there once,
watching the bubbles
rise up through the sand
like ascending souls,

St John`s Presbyterian Church - Arrowtown

 Ez az egyszerű és szép épületet kinai munkások segitségével épitették 1873-ban. Arrowtown az 1860-as években lett népszerű, amikor is aranyat fedeztek fel a közeli Arrow folyóban.

William Fox, John O'Callaghan and a small band of miners had discovered gold in the Arrow River some weeks prior to the fact becoming known and by being secretive they managed to have the diggings to themselves. In this time they recovered some 230 lbs of gold! Ultimately the population of Arrowtown rose to over 7,000 people, and the now ghost towns of Macetown and Bullendale counted for several hundred more.
